Ordering FAQs

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, PayPal, Amazon Checkout, Affirm, wire transfers, checks, and money orders. We prefer wire transfers for international customers, since it is an easy process and does not require any delays in shipments. We offer a 1.5% discount to customers who pay with a wire transfer. We also offer three financing options.

How does the layaway plan work?

You can pay with layaway through flexible payment installments. You can pay a minimum of 20% down to start. You are free to start with a higher deposit. You then have 365 days to pay the full amount. Please note: layaway orders are not crafted until final payment is made. Based on final payment timing there may be a stone chnage with same characteristics. As always there is No Interest, and No credit check to participate in our layaway program.

What is the financing option?

You can pay with financing through Affirm or “PayPal Credit”. You must be approved in order for us to proceed. Below is more information on your different financing options.

How are your prices so low?

We design and manufacture our own products, which allows us to provide the best and lowest prices. We are also experts at negotiating down prices so we could offer our customers the lowest prices on center stones. Furthermore, we do not have a brick and mortar store so our costs are lower. We like to save so we could pass on the savings to our customers. If we save, you save!

Will I be charged sales tax?

No, not if the package is being shipped outside of New York. We only charge sales tax for items shipped to New York.

Do your products come with a Diamond Grading Report?

Yes, but a Diamond Grading Report is not included with all products. Loose diamonds and custom made jewelry from the Design Your Own Jewelry section come with diamond certificates, or an expert appraisal.

Who issues the Diamond Grading Report and what is its importance?

A Diamond Grading Report or Diamond Certificate is issued by one of the independent laboratories. The most common ones are the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) and the American Gem Society (AGS).

The certificates give a detailed report of the characteristics of each diamond, which includes the 4C’s, and marks the credibility of the stone. You can find out more about the 4C’s and Diamond Grading Report in our Diamonds & Jewelry Education Center.
Are your diamonds Conflict Free?

Yes, Allurez is dedicated to providing our customers with the highest ethical values. We care about our customers as well as the individuals employed in the mining industry. Allurez purchases its diamonds through respected, trusted, and legitimate suppliers. We fully support the Kimberly Process, which works to uphold the legitimacy of the diamond trade and stops the trade of conflict diamonds.

Is shopping with secure?

Yes, we take security very seriously, and ensure that personal information provided to us remains protected and encrypted. At Allurez we use the latest security technology, which includes data encryption and server authentication.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Can I send someone a gift from or ship to a different address than mine?

Yes. Simply indicate the two addresses during the ordering process. For your protection, and to prevent any delays, please be sure to let your credit card issuer know that you’ll be shipping to a different address than your billing address.

How do I make sure my ring size is correct?

We offer a very accurate ring sizer on our website. If you don’t know where it is located we will submit it to you via e-mail. The sizer also works as an international converter, so you will be able to find the size you need. Our ring sizer matches the sizes we make. If it cannot provide your correct size, we will attempt to help you in any way we can.
Are there locations to view merchandise?

We have a showroom in the Manhattan, New York area where specific items will be on display for our customers. In order to view the showroom, you would have to contact us and set up an appointment. However, we are predominantly an online company and most of our business as well as our entire catalogue of jewelry are available through our website.

Are the gemstones used for the jewelry synthetic or lab created?

Absolutely not! All of our gemstones are natural, high quality stones. Here at Allurez, we make it our priority to make sure we only use the best products for our customers. We do however, sell lab made loose diamonds, as well as some jewelry that is expertly crafted with high quality lab diamonds or gemstones. If lab stones are used it is clearly indicated in the listing.

If I want to match a piece of gemstone jewelry I already have, would you be able to provide me with the matching shade for an item I would like to purchase? Also, would I be able to request lighter / darker shades of Aquamarines / Rubies / Emeralds / Sapphires or any other gemstone?

Yes! As long as you specify within the order, preferably with an image, we would be more than happy to provide you with a gemstone that matches your own piece. Also we would be more than happy to accommodate any special request of different shades for these gemstones. Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask one of our representatives.

Are any of the white diamonds treated, enhanced, synthetic, or laser drilled (center stones)?

No, we only provide natural, high quality diamonds. They are not treated, enhanced, synthetic or laser drilled. We take the utmost care of the diamonds that we hand select for our customers to ensure customer satisfaction. Unless clearly disclosed, or a client asks us we do not sell enhanced or treated diamonds.

How do I know what size earring jackets to purchase?

Call 1(800) 554-3509 with the carat weight of each stone, and we will be able to give you the correct size earring jackets. If you do not know the carat weight, go to a local jeweler to give you the carat weight or exact measurement in millimeters and we can then also provide you with the correct size earring jackets.

Do I have to be available to sign during the time of delivery?

Since our items are of high value, all packages require an adult signature at the time of delivery. We do work with all of our customers with timing to find the best available time for you to have someone available to sign for the package.

Why do “Design Your Own” engagement ring take longer than all other items?

All Design Your Own engagement rings take approximately 5-14 business days to process as they are customized items created from scratch. Customers choose a specific setting with a specific diamond to make it to your liking. If the engagement ring is needed by a specific date, we will notify the jewelers and they will do everything they can to accommodate the request.

Do we ship to P.O. Boxes?

In order to make sure that we can ship to you quickly and securely because we do require authorized signatures, we ask that all customers provide physical addresses. P.O. boxes can be accepted only under extenuating circumstances with the authorization from a supervisor.

How long do repair/exchanges take?

For repairs, once the original item is received back in our facilities, depending on the work that needs to be done, it should take approximately 5-7 business days.

For exchanges, the new item should take approximately 5-7 business days to process and be sent out after the original item is received in our facilities and gone through a couple of days of inspection. If the exchange item is a custom item, it should take no more than 10-14 business days to process and be sent out.

Coupon Codes, Discounts & Gift With Purchase Offers:

Allurez reserves the right to terminate any offer at any time. As our diamond and loose stones prices are already generously discounted, we do not accept coupon codes on jewelry boxes, loose diamonds, loose gemstones or center diamonds used in our design your own items. All gift with purchase offers are while supplies last. We reserve the right to substitute any offer item with a different item.

How much do I need to pay for shipping in the U.S.?

Nothing! We offer FREE two-day shipping for items under $1,000 and FREE overnight shipping for items over $3,000!

For items under $3,000, overnight shipping is a low cost of $45.

How much to ship internationally and how long will it take to deliver?

We offer free international shipping for items over $2,000 and depending what country we are shipping to, items under $2,000 will incur a shipping fee. Here is a breakdown of shipping fees by country:


$99 for all orders under $2,000

All Other Countries:

$99 for all orders under $2,000

Please note that although we do not charge taxes for international orders, once the package arrives to its destination, customers will be charged fees and duties that are charged by customs not by us, and therefore cannot be refunded by us. Allurez customers’ are responsible for customs’ fees and duties.

From the point of us shipping the product internationally, delivery time is out of our control and depends as all international packages go through customs.

Do you offer shipping insurance?

Yes, we offer FREE Insured Shipping on all products shipped to the U.S. Shipping insurance is also FREE for international orders.
